Rian is the brains behind it all. A Hippocrates Health Educator, she is passionate about transforming people's lives and improving the world we live in.
She has written several books and speaks regularly in national and international venues.
She uses her extensive knowledge in the best interests of her guests at what is one of the finest raw retreats in the world.

Martin supervises the financial side and ensures Health Etcetera works smoothly.
In his spare time he plays for the GB tennis team, and helped Britain achieve a silver medal in this year's World Cup of tennis.

Emily is an integral part of Health Etcetera. She organises events, advises clients on suitable programmes, deals with marketing, the website and more. The boss swears the centre could not be run without her.
Her background is varied; prior to her current role she was a successful head hunter and training manager. Before that her experience was within marketing, events and design roles.

Max Tuck graduated as a Health Educator in 2006 from the world-famous Hippocrates Health Institute. In 1990 she cured herself of chronic fatigue and Epstein-Barr virus through a radical change in diet and lifestyle. Since 1998 she has been 100% raw.
Since her recovery, which surprised her doctors, she has run marathons, competed in triathlons, mountain bike races, climbed mountains and gained a black belt in karate.
She regularly speaks at health seminars, presents lectures and gives practical demonstrations.

Marie O'Brien MAR, FHT, NFSH, Cert. Ed.
Marie is a relaxation and wellbeing therapist, healer and teacher. She gives talks on the power of inner healing drawing from her training in, and experience of, spiritual psychotherapy and holistic therapies. Her own healing story is inspiring.
Marie has been in private practice for nearly 20 years using various therapies: facial and foot reflexology, hot stone massage, Japanese facial lifting, talking and creative therapies that lighten, relax and uplift.

Janine started her naturopathic nutritional training with Plaskett Nutritional Medicine College in 2004.
She went on to study several other alternative therapies, including reflexology, aromatherapy & reiki.
She became interested in the raw food movement in 2007 and more recently set up her own nutritionally focused cookery school and catering service. She joined the team as our raw food chef in 2010.

Mitch is an inspirational and international yoga teacher, who brings his own dynamic approach to yoga. His classes will empower your body and lift your soul, whoever you are. Laugh, move, breathe and feel revitalised.
His classes are designed for all levels, from those new to yoga to the experienced, and are based on a fusion of yoga styles to suit everyone.
Mitch also runs yoga holidays all over the world including India, Sri Lanka, Egypt, Spain, Turkey and Brazil.

Jonathan is a full time holistic health practitioner who has been actively involved in health and healing for more than 20 years. He is a Reiki master and a qualified breathworker who specialises in rebirthing and reflexology.
He has a tremendous depth of life experience and brings compassionate understanding into his work.

Michelle registered with the British Academy of Sound Therapy. She runs The Healing Circle on Thursday mornings, which combines gentle movement, connection and sound therapy to create a wonderful healing space, enabling you to discover new ways to nourish and energise yourself.
An experienced meditator, reiki practitioner and qualified yoga teacher, Michelle has spent eight years working as an addiction counsellor for both adults and young people. She feels passionate about people fulfilling their potential and establishing healthy ways to do this.

As a survivor of breast cancer, Debs believes 100% in the benefits of healthy living and complimentary therapies. She found that natural treatments were very much a part of her recovery from the chemo and radiotherapy treatments.
Since then she has qualified as a therapist and concentrates on reflexology, reiki,
aromatherapy and massage in order that she can help others feel the same benefits. Debs knows from experience that these treatments work and in the stressful world we live in, we need to take time to help ourselves keep healthy, happy and balanced

Tineke has been teaching textiles classes for years, all over the world. Her degree of expertise matches her passion for textures, colours and design.
She teaches textiles at Health Etcetera on Friday evenings and also helps with the day course that reveals how to make sauerkraut, the proper German way.

Over the last eighteen years Justin gained a tremendous amount of insight in how tai chi promotes good health as well as flexibility better cardiovascular functions and ultimately longevity.
The fast pace of modern life, our bad eating and drinking habits, the effects of our polluted air and environment, are all elements that lead to mental and physical stress. Tai Chi helps to redress the balance.

Matt’s previous experience as a fire fighter and head gardener taught him the importance of keeping fit, having core strength and good flexibility. He discovered sports and remedial massage as an excellent way to prevent injuries and balance the body. He is also a keen long distance runner, practices ju-jitsu and has recently taken up yoga.
Matt holds an LSSM Btec Level 5 diploma in sports and remedial massage. He is also a member of the Sports Massage Association, Institute for Sports and Remedial Massage, is First Aid Qualified and CRB checked.
